December is the highlight month of everyone’s year. Each are planning for their get together, family dinner, Christmas party, and most especially all are looking forward for the New Year’s Eve. Aren’t we?
Our Family a.k.a SUPERFAM, celebrated and spent it with awe, being together, bond with each other (literally almost everyday), did our Christmas concerts and was able to inspire a lot of people through our music ministry with the help of our Heavenly Father above.
December 25, Christmas day, we celebrated it over family dinner. And on the 26th day of December, our family decided that we are going to my mom’s hometown to celebrate her birthday. Together with our family and relatives, we celebrated and ended her birthday a fun, bellies full, quite simple compared to last year’s grand surprise celebration for her but still a memorable one.
December 31, a day where everyone is busy and having a last minute grocery of food or desserts especially quality cakes for the grand welcoming of the New Year. My family and I experienced a last minute grocery too. But unfortunately, all the cakes were reserved and none was left for us to buy. Nevertheless, with or without the cake we had our best roasted turkey ever over dinner for everyone to enjoy. As a family we decided to have our annual tradition before we welcome the New Year. Furthermore, as we waited for midnight to pass we continued our family tradition of having a movie marathon. Therefore, we ended our 2017, simple, happy, blessed, and most importantly, what satisfies us all is that we were and always are complete.

“Holidays,” the time of the year where students procrastinate. Just kidding. Teens would usually spend their holidays hanging out with their friends and families, going shopping, watching movies, attending christmas parties and etc., but not for me. In my own perspective, this time of year is a time for performances, a lot of performances. Growing up as a performer is challenging. You need to dedicate your own time in order to practice and perfect a routine. Some say that it requires a huge amount of sacrifice. Though I wouldn’t call it as ‘sacrificing’ because by the end of the day, all your hardwork will pay off if you were able to showcase a performance to the best of your extent. Being able to dance my heart out in front of a crowd is something that I’ll never get tired of. The stage is my solace.
Although I have a tight schedule, I’ll always find time to spend for my loved ones. I never got the chance to be with them during school days in view of the fact that I always come home late because of my agendas. Thus, I wouldn’t want the holidays to pass without spending it with them. And so, did I. The pictures says it all.
